Melissa Nash #3
Melissa Nash began playing lacrosse her freshman year in high school at Olympus High in Salt Lake City, Utah. She started all four years on that team and led the team to the playoffs several times. She was captain both junior and senior year. Junior year she was named as an All-State player, despite a broken collarbone. Senior year she was awarded with all-American and academic all-American, along with MVP awards from her team. She played on several travel teams, including Team Utah and the West Coast team at the Senior Showcase in Maryland. As a freshman at BYU she was awarded the Rookie of the Year award and last season received the Coach’s award. She will be one of the Cougars’ captains this season.
