2010-2011… the year of the COUGAR

The Cougars ended last season at the National Tournament in Scottsdale Arizona in May. It became one of the best seasons this team has ever had. BYU, after an intense rainy game in Colorado, brought home the Rocky Mountain Women’s Lacrosse League trophy beating Colorado State 13-12. The Cougars later became among the Elite 8 in the country.
The 2011 season is expected to be more successful than last year with hard work and dedication from this strong team. The Cougars welcomed 12 new players from across the country and with captains; Anna Collett, Kristen Viehweg and Melissa Nash leading the team and several stand out players returning from last year, this season is bound to be exciting.
